We provide exterior construction services to customers throughout West Michigan. Our team is licensed by the State of Michigan as residential builders, and we make a commitment to professional installation to manufacturer requirements, while exceeding customer expectations.

Our Services

Meet Dan Tresslar

Dan is the founder and owner of Coastline Roofing. For 15 years he has served businesses and customers throughout West Michigan. Dan is a graduate of Hope College, and lives with his family near the lake on the north side of Holland, Michigan.

Dan’s passion for customer relationships led him to a career in construction services – where the project offering and customer satisfaction is tangible and authentic. He grew up working in his family’s automotive garage before he moved to Michigan.

Dan is a licensed residential builder by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (License Number 242501315)

When he’s not on the jobsite, you can find Dan enjoying everything that West Michigan offers with his family. His wife and two sons frequently visit the beaches and communities of Saugatuck, Holland, and Grand Haven. Their favorite places include fishing the northern pier in Grand Haven and visiting the Holland Peanut store on 8th street.

If you need an honest opinion and estimate on exterior work, Coastline is the place to go in West Michigan. Dan and his team repaired a portion of my extremely steep roof in the fall of 2025. Among the four estimates we received, Dan was the only contractor who advised we repair our roof, rather than replace it. Across the companies we contacted, Dan was the only contractor who climbed the roof surface for the inspection, and we felt we could trust him right after we met him.
